encounter between the poet and mystic Rumi and his spiritual master Shams
Tabrizi. Mostafa Taleb on kamancheh and Milad Mohammadi on tar bring toget
her Persian classical music\, improvisation\, composition and experimentat
ion. In their hands\, these instruments move beyond their traditional role
s\, becoming voices\, percussion and sonic landscapes\, while remaining ro
oted in the poetry\, spirituality and philosophy of Persian culture. The p
roject takes the meeting between Rumi and Shams as a point of departure\,
a meeting that transformed Rumi’s life and opened a path toward mysticis
