Origins and Collective Foundation
Since 2018, the project that began as Lagrange Points has unfolded through pop-ups, pauses, experiments, and different phases of development, shaped by the people who imagined and built it together.
What began as a series of temporary interventions grew into a shared vision for a house where art, culture, politics, and everyday life meet.
Now, LP's legacy continues under a new name: Ruq’ah.
Vision and Values
Ruq’ah is built through collaborations.
Its identity is shaped by artists, cultural enthusiasts, producers, researchers, activists, and communities from Brussels, Palestine, the Arab world, and beyond.
It is a space for exchange, experimentation, memory, hospitality, and interactive practice, strengthened by partnerships with individuals, collectives, and civil society that share this horizon.
New Home and Future Direction
Ruq’ah is based at Rue de Laeken 157, Brussels.
The space brings together an art gallery, bookshop, stage, cafe, film, performance, workshops, and public conversations.
Rooted in Brussels, cultures while open to the world, Ruq’ah is not only a venue, but a living ecosystem where books, food, art, dialogue, and performance intersect with the questions and struggles of our time.
