Kids’ Tote Bag Workshop

A creative afternoon for children to paint, imagine, and discover how art can carry a message.

In this hands-on workshop, children will design and decorate their own tote bags using fabric paint, drawing inspiration from Flyers for Falastin, a visual poster campaign encouraging people everywhere to stand with Palestine through art.

Kids can work from the campaign’s colouring pages and patterns, or let their imagination take over and create something completely their own.

Each child will leave with a unique hand-painted tote bag, as well as a playful introduction to the idea that art can express hope, culture, identity, and solidarity.

While the children create, parents are welcome to stay, relax, and enjoy a coffee or a drink at Ruq’ah.

What to expect
