A new tatreez community is starting at Ruqah, hosted by Sophie and Taha.

The idea is simple: a place to meet, stitch and enjoy time together. Tatreez is traditional Palestinian embroidery, and this circle is a relaxed, friendly way to discover and practise it. Embroider a motif on your jacket, your tote bag or a piece of fabric, chat, learn from each other and leave with something you made yourself.

Complete beginners are very welcome, and so are experienced embroiderers. It's less a class than a circle: meetings will take place every month, and more often if the community grows.

💶 €5 per person. This covers the materials and helps keep the community going.

🧵 No need to bring anything, all materials are provided. You're welcome to bring a piece of clothing or a bag you'd like to embroider.
