Ruq’ah and Cloud Seven are pleased to present a special announcement event for Muslimgauze: Sound, Image and the Afterlife of an Archive, a forthcoming multidisciplinary project dedicated to the work and legacy of Bryn Jones / Muslimgauze.

This evening marks the beginning of a new partnership between Cloud Seven and Ruq’ah, bringing together two spaces around a shared interest in artistic research, archives, sound, image, and contemporary cultural practice.

For the occasion, Mohammad Zaza will present a newly created animation paying tribute to the legacy of Bryn Jones. Drawing from the visual and political universe surrounding Muslimgauze, the work approaches the archive through movement, repetition, image, and atmosphere, offering a first glimpse into the wider project to come.

The evening will also include a special DJ set extending the project into a live listening experience.

The full exhibition, Muslimgauze: Sound, Image and the Afterlife of an Archive, will open at Cloud Seven on 20 October 2026 and will remain on view for one week.
